Prof. Veronica Castillo-Munoz Co-curated an Exhibit!

Congratulations to Professor Veronica Castillo-Munoz (History) who was invited by the National Museum of the Mexican Revolution and the Casasola Foundation to collaborate on a major exhibit about a Mexican national hero, Pancho Villa, to examine his controversial and complicated role in the Mexican Revolution (1910-1920). As a co-curator, she reviewed, selected, and translated newspaper articles to examine how the U.S. press covered Pancho Villa in the United States between 1910 and 1923. She was also responsible for translating and writing labels in Spanish. Buscando a Pancho Villa (Looking for Pancho Villa) was on display at the National Museum of the Revolution from October 2023 to March 2024.
