Prof. Elide Valarini Oliver Won a Translation Award!

Congratulations to Professor Elide Valarini Oliver (Spanish and Portuguese) for receiving the Prêmio Paulo Rónai, awarded by the Biblioteca Nacional of Brazil for her translation and critical edition of O primeiro livro. A vida muito horrífica do Grande Gargantua, pai de Pantagruel by François Rabelais. This was the third place in the National Library Literary translation category in 2022. Read more here.
